Anne Pruiksma2024-12-25 Twee weken Spaanse les gehad hier en het was mega goed! Naast les organiseren ze allemaal leuke activiteiten ook. Ben Parnell2024-12-24 Awesome experience. My teachers were great and explained things very well. The resources provided were great and allowed me to continue studying independently after leaving the school. I feel my spanish has improved significantly despite only studying for one week. The activities in the evenings were also excellent for socialising with fellow students, staff, and locals alike. I particularly enjoyed the football and language exchange with locals. Vielen Dank 🙏🏼🤗 Lorenz Tschuor2024-12-10 Very profesional and perfectly organized. They have groupe and private classes and do everything to match your requirements, if they can. Well educated profesors who understand the problems of foreign students. Mundo Antiguo also offers an every day off the lessons program to learn about the peruanan culture such as dancing classes, intercambio in order to get in contact with locals and organize culinary events e.x. fruit and potato tastings. The host families are well chosen and interact proactively with the students. I higly recomend Mundo Antigua Spanish School. Monika W.2024-12-10 The best Spanish language school! A wonderful and family atmosphere, great people, professional and excellent teachers (we were taught by two teachers - both fantastic Cynthia and Miquel). The school is beautifully located in the iconic San Blas district. We studied at school for two weeks - me and my teenage son. We are both delighted with the school and happy that we ended up there. We also really liked the afternoon integration meetings, which allowed us to practice the language, but also to learn more about Peruvian culture. Everything was perfectly organized by the amazing Ninoska. We regret that we can no longer study at school. This is our best travel experience so far. We started from scratch with the language, and now we can communicate and understand a lot. Thank you all very much!! Lessons, school grounds, social activities each day (gracias Ninoska<3), staff and teachers etc. were all amazing, don’t have anything bad to say.. The home stays are a great way to get to learn the culture and language of Peru and Cusco- I was staying with Norma Patricia’s family, very comfortable and heart warming experience, will cherish my time with them forever and would definitely recommend staying here<3 You will likely meet many, lovely people, many student come and go through the weeks. Overall, amazing school, and learnt a lot of Spanish! Gracias por todo❤️ Lyne Nadeau2024-12-09 I spent 4 weeks at Mundo Antiguo Spanish School in November 2024. I will keep great memories forever! The staff at the school is top notch for their professionalism, adaptivity, friendliness, enthusiasm, to name a few. I was with the same teacher, Yaki, for the month, and was amazed on how well she knows her stuff. There is not one question that stayed unanswered. Her knowledge of the Spanish grammar and culture blew me away. She is a teacher through and through, on top of being a geologist engineer. She took another university degree in order to become a teacher. I am a retired school teacher and can appreciate the depth of her knowledge and the ease of explaining it back to her students. Our classes were full of interesting discussions. She knows how practicing the language is as important as the exercice book we were using. The book was a tool and not an end in itself. By the way: the book is incredibly well written/done. From Monday to Friday, the school offers activities after school hours. Monday evening: welcome dinner to help new students integrate to the community. Tuesday evening: salsa class. Wednesday evening: language exchange. Thursday: soccer/football game. Friday: cultural experience. The school has a doctor on the premise to help in case of sickness. It also has a travel agent on site to help organise visits. Mundo Antiguo Spanish School goes beyond the call of duty to make the overall experience a winning one. If I could give 10 stars to this business I would. Eke W2024-12-06 It was great! Susan Abrill2024-11-28 I traveled solo to Cusco to work on my Spanish, and my experience at Mundo Antiguo was even better than I expected from a school with 5 stars. I’m an advanced-level student, and I studied there for two weeks in November, doing group classes for four hours a day. The teachers were absolutely amazing! Each day, you have two different teachers, and both of mine were super smart, knowledgeable, funny, and so organized. Also they didn't mind taking a deep dive into any questions we had. They really worked hard to make the classes both effective and enjoyable. There are short breaks- there is free coffee and tea and a few doors down there is a delicious bakery with great prices. Also there is a sunny courtyard that is great for taking a break and also meeting students from other classes from all over the globe! In just two weeks, we covered a ton of material—grammar, speaking practice, and everything in between. The other students were also awesome! There was such a great mix of people of all ages, from young adults to retirees, which made the whole environment so welcoming and inclusive. Plus, the school organizes fun evening activities, so if you will travel solo like me, there is always something to do with your new friends! I learned so much in a short time and had such a great experience. I can’t wait to go back. If you’re thinking about learning Spanish in Cusco, this is the place to go! Anna Schumann2024-11-27 During my volunteering program, I took 4 weeks of Spanish classes at Mundo, and I loved every second of it! All the teachers are incredibly welcoming, and the entire team truly cares about their students, constantly encouraging them to do their best. A personal highlight for me was the daily activities, which you can still attend even after finishing your course. Thank you so much for 4 wonderful and enriching weeks!Load more

Everyday they also offer different activities to learn about the culture, connect with other students or just have a good time. And the way of teaching is also really modern anf good (I by myself was a teacher, so yes, they are good!) Susan Abrill2024-11-30 Quality, Value and Heart I took group classes here for two weeks, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The prices are excellent, and the facility itself is charming, housed in a traditional adobe building that feels cozy and authentic. There’s also an open courtyard where you can soak up some sun during breaktime—perfect for recharging. The school offers free coffee and tea all day, including traditional Peruvian mates, which was a lovely touch. The staff is completely bilingual, so you can communicate in either English or Spanish, whichever you prefer. The bathroom facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the Wi-Fi connection is reliable and fast. The location is very convenient—it’s centrally located, so you can walk there easily. If you’re staying in another neighborhood, a taxi ride is only 7 soles (about $2 USD). Group classes run from 9 AM to 1 PM, with three breaks. During these breaks, you can grab a healthy snack from a nearby bakery, or after class, enjoy a full "menu" lunch (soup, main course, and drink) at a local cafeteria for just 7–8 soles. Everything is affordable and within walking distance, making it easy to connect with classmates for lunch or coffee after class. Now, about the instruction—this is where the school truly shines. As a university foreign language professor from Canada, I have high standards, and Mundo Antiguo exceeded them. The methodology and practice were excellent and highly effective. The school provides well-designed in-house produced books tailored to different levels, and the teachers are clearly well-trained. Classes offer plenty of opportunities to speak, and teachers provide selective, helpful corrections for pronunciation and grammar. Because they are bilingual, they can quickly explain idiomatic expressions in English when necessary.I genuinely looked forward to going to school every morning, rain or shine. The staff and teachers are warm, welcoming, and create a sense of belonging that is rare to find.If your time in Cusco is precious, choose the right school—Mundo Antiguo is it! I highly recommend it. Michael B2024-11-25 Fantastic Spanish school Fantastic 10/10 Spanish learning experience. I spent two weeks taking private lessons at this school in Peru. I began with minimal experience and was able to improve my Spanish significantly by the end of this time. All the teachers, and administrative staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and genuine, and they were able to teach to my level and my needs. The social activities and community feeling with the teachers and all the other students were a fantastic addition to the experience. I would recommend to this anyone, whether only for one week, or for several. It definitely increased my confidence in Spanish and has served me useful in future travels. James P2024-11-22 La mejor escuela de español I had a great time at Mundo Antiguo. Definitely the best Spanish School in Cusco, or perhaps even the Southern Hemisphere. The classes were fun and engaging, and I learned a lot. Small class sizes, and yet I made lifelong friends! Mundo Antiguo is not only a great place to learn spanish but a key social and cultural hub for tourists in Cusco looking to experience the real Peru. I can't recommend it enough! Ellie H2024-11-18 Amazing school! Mundo Antiguo was the most kind and welcoming school. During the time I was studying here I became unwell and the owners and staff were nothing but supportive. The teachers here are also excellent and patient. Muchas Gracias Koen, Carina, José, Diego, Ninoska y Melissa por su amabilidad ❤️ Krista R2024-11-07 Great Spanish language school in the heart of Cusco. Mundo Antiguo is an excellent Spanish language school. The instructors are very good and the small 2-4 person classes allow for individualized instruction. The school offers activities every evening during the week for students to get to know each other and locals. The school is located in the heart of the historic district in Cusco, a city filled with living history and culture. I had a wonderful experience thereLoad more
