I’m so grateful to have connected with Mundo Antiguo, the staff, and to have had this beautiful experience. I signed up for the 4 week home stay/20hr week classes with 4 excursions and a volunteer role at a local after school program - extremely good value for money. What I was not expecting was how lovely and hospitable and kind and generous the staff would be. The teachers were well trained and dedicated educators. The class sizes were small and focused. The nightly activities like school dinners and language exchanges and football matches were fun, well organized and a great way to connect with other people. A special word for Ninoska, who took it upon herself to go to my volunteer site with me and teach me how to ride the bus. Niels and Melissa were excellent communicators that helped put my mind at ease before I arrived. And special shout out to Roy, Miguel, Heidy, Gladys, and all of my teachers who helped me go from a very basic Spanish student to feeling confident and able to communicate! Thank you mundo antiguo. I arrived as a customer / student and left as a friend. Signed up for one month and stayed for 3 You’re all amazing and I’ll miss you all so much. I studied here for 4 weeks (with the homestay option) and it was an amazing experience! Due to the great teachers and nice families you pick up the language quite fast. This was the perfect beginning for my solo travels!

The lessons can be quite full of new information when you start for the first time but because of the great teachers you're able to make it though. They makes the lessons serious but also funny and they really just become friends after a while. I’ve had such a great time at mundo antiguo! After i walked in just to ask about the courses i got a very warm welcome and was handed an exam to determine my level, and the day after i could immediately start with the lessons.

The school really knows what to learn each student and teaches everything in a very fast, practical and fun way. The teachers are so nice and they make you feel like a part of the family as soon as you get in. I also love the fact that everyday there are activities to do with the other students to connect, and even learn some more spanish outside of school.

In 2 weeks i have learned so much, and have gotten so much information! I still have my schoolbooks with me so i can practice al the grammar rules and cunjugations i’ve been teached.

I would 10/10 recommend Mundo antiguo for students who want to quickly learn spanish in a fun way!

I enrolled for 3 weeks in Mundo Antiguo, supposed to be just 2 weeks but I extended for 1 more week as I am enjoying my stay, learning a lot in class, and meeting many new friends. We had an amazing time at Mundo Antiguo language school! We stayed for three weeks and have learned so much, in a very diverse teaching style accompanied by many fun social activities after class! The staff is wonderful, everything is very familiar and you‘re in good hands from the first second on. Also a great place to get to know other people, to learn about Cusco‘s culture and to get recommendations for/help with the organisation of travel trips.

The perfect way to learn Spanish! For all levels and age! I was there for only one week and I would have stayed if I’d had more time.
My Spanish was none existent and I was able to have a conversation with the taxi driver on the way to the airport. English is not my first language either and I’m over 40. I still was very comfortable in the school. All the staff is just amazing. The teachers are fun and really good.
I stayed at the student Appartment and the rooms were very big and everything is really clean.

I stayed here for month switching between private and group classes, whilst staying at their apartment. During that time I was overwhelmed by how accommodating everyone was. All staff are vibrant and super friendly. The school is in a great location and an intimate size allowing you to get to know everyone involved. Classes are fun and engaging with a plethora of resources. There are plenty of activities throughout the week and support for just about anything you need. Had a great experience at Mundo Antiguo Spanish School
The classes were well taught and professionally run. Teachers were well trained, knowledgeable, and personable. The school is well run, with knowledge appropriate, small classes, and extra activities to use Spanish outside classes, for example a language exchange where students speak with locals who want to learn English. The school arranged my homestay experience at La Casa de Felcie, which exceeded my expectations - a tremendously friendly, generous, helpful, engaging, and witty family with loads of great experiences to share. They also were very amenable to my speaking (my less than perfect) Spanish. I met great people there, both the hosts and other visitors besides myself. The accommodations were great! They made great food, three meals a day (if that is part of your package)! The best language school in Cusco!
I spent 5 weeks learning Spanish at this brilliant school, and loved every minute of it. The teachers are all excellent - and if you’re there for a while you’ll have a few different people which is really helpful as everyone has a different teaching style. I felt instantly welcomed into a community when I joined, through which I had access to discounts at local businesses; the opportunity to meet people both from Cusco, and internationally; and brilliant, varied events almost daily - from salsa classes to language exchanges, and workshops on elements from the rich culture, like weaving and music - as well as occasional excursions further afield. The school is in San Blas - a wonderful, creative part of the city, which is walkable to everything. I really can’t say enough good things about this place - the quality of teaching is outstanding and everyone is so warm and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. A fantastic week at Mundo Antiguo
This was my first time at a Spanish School in Perú and was really blown away by the quality of teaching that I experienced here. I was able to arrange for a week of private lessons (20 hours) just a few days before. Upon arrival, I felt immediately at home with friendly people and the best 2 teachers that I could have. Many thanks to Roy and Jimmy for guiding me expertly through Future, Conditional, and Imperative during the week. The school's social media has lots of video, etc. Check it out and you will see the good vibes coming through. Great teachers!
What an amazing place! I worked with 3 teachers Cynthia, Miguel, and Sandra. All of them were outstanding! They were very professional, and yet when I felt I needed attention in other areas like pronunciation. They were willing to modify the coursework to accommodate my learning needs. As with all schools, the most important element is what the student brings to the table. But I found the staff and teachers trying to do everything they could to see the students succeed. Absolutely recommendable!
I spent two weeks at the MUNDO SPANISH SCHOOL language school in Antigua (Guatemala) and never before have I enjoyed learning a language so much. I was so motivated that I even took additional individual lessons during the subsequent volunteer work. The 1:1 lessons were held in a beautiful courtyard by friendly, competent teachers. Coffee, tea and work materials were provided and I learned a lot. The supporting program with changing, interesting excursions was also very well organized and supervised by Fredy, the head of the school. Amazing language school especially for beginners
The atmosphere at the spanisch school is very familiar and welcoming. All teachers and staff are super nice and we made a lot of new friends among the students. A lot of events are organized by the school and they helped to organize trips on the weekend.
